WATCH: Nets' Teletovic Airballs 3 Straight Shots

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- There are bad shooting nights.

Then there are BAD shooting nights.

Just ask Nets forward Mirza Teletovic, who missed the rim on three straight shots in the fourth quarter of Wednesday night's 93-90 win in Detroit -- to the increasing delight of Pistons fans.

Nets coach P.J. Carlesimo pulled Teletovic shortly after the triple-combo airball display, ending his night early.

Detroit's television team of George Blaha and Greg Kelser couldn't believe their eyes.

"One of these days they're going to take a point away for an airball. One of these days," said Kelser.

After the third and final shot, Blaha exclaimed, "And he misses another one! Three air balls in a row, that has to be an NBA record!"

Perhaps. We're not sure about that.

Kelser was positive of something: "I got a feeling we're going to see him on all the highlights -- for all the wrong reasons."
