When it comes to breaking down the sport of basketball, few can do it as well as Kenny ‘The Jet’ Smith, who can be seen doing his thing as a top-notch analyst on a regular basis on TNT’s NBA coverage (as well as NBA TV).
He joined Boomer & Craig to talk some hoops, beginning with All-Star Weekend, specifically Saturday night’s dunk contest, which despite the lack of ‘star-power,’ Kenny believes is going to be a memorable one.
Smith also believes that both the Knicks and the Nets, along with the Bulls and Pacers, make up the second group of teams which are all looking up at the defending champion Heat in the East.
Before saying goodbye, with his 50th birthday fast approaching (February 17th) ‘The Jet’ was sure to point out the obvious (which for some reason is still necessary) – by saying that Michael Jordan is the best player we’ve ever seen. Copy that!
