Police: Suspect In S.I. Narcotics Bust Starred As Blue Fairy In Rap Video

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- You can't make this stuff up.

The New York Police Department said a 22-year-old woman, who plays a blue fairy in an amateur rap music video about drugs, was among those arrested in a narcotics operation on Staten Island.

Sharissa Turk, who authorities said works at Edible Arrangements on Staten Island, and 31 others between the ages of 18 to 54 face multiple charges, including criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of drug paraphernalia.

Police seized 595 oxycodone pills, 300 Vicodin pills, 300 Xanax pills, 250 grams of cocaine, 250 grams of cocaine and 16 ounces of marijuana along with $17,000 from 12 different locations.

Turk is among those who appears in the music video -- titled "My World Is Blue." It shows scenes of people dancing inside drug stores and other Staten Island locations.

Authorities said Turk sold oxycodone to an NYPD undercover on three separate occasions. She was arrested Wednesday at her job and has been charged with criminal sale of a controlled substance.

She was arraigned in Staten Island Criminal Court Thursday.

Meanwhile, police said they recovered a loaded 380-caliber Keltec semi-automatic pistol from under one subject's bed during the execution of a search warrant.

Police said Brian Piscopo, 29, also sold three firearms to NYPD undercovers on two separate occasions last year.

The operation also yielded a loaded 40-caliber Smith and Wesson semi-automatic, 45-caliber Colt semi-automatic and Mossberg pistol grip shotgun.
