Boomer and Craig were pleased to welcome Steve Kerr into the fray this morning, as the TNT analyst called in on the hotline shortly after 9 a.m. to talk a little basketball.
Kerr played - and won three NBA championships (1996-98) - with Michael Jordan and the Bulls (he won five rings all together, winning two more with the Spurs - 1999 and 2003), so Craig was sure to get his take on Michael with regards to all of the rest, specifically Kobe Bryant and LeBron James.
As far as the Knicks are concerned, Kerr believes they have lost the defensive focus and attention to detail they had at the beginning of the season, pointing to the return of Amar'e Stoudemire and the changes that followed. But he made it clear that he is not counting them out by any means, and believes that they will eventually emerge from their funk...
