Brian Cashman confirmed the Yankees made a ‘significant offer’ to Robinson Cano with hopes of avoiding a bidding war for their 30-year-old second baseman. At this point it’s not clear whether said offer was rejected or still being considered by Cano and his agent Scott Boras — but I think we all see where this is heading..
