B&C Morning Show: Cashman's Concern For Teixeira; Rick Nash Comes Through Again
Jerry Recco got his first update of the morning started with a brief update on Mark Teixeira, after the Yankees first baseman heard a pop in his wrist while hitting off a tee preparing for the World Baseball Classic.
Brian Cashman, who is dealing with health issues of his own, said he is concerned about his first baseman, who will no longer be participating in the WBC.
As for Cashman, his mentions of sending Tex to see a specialist and his own personal regret conjured up thoughts of Omar Minaya -- which is always a good thing.
Plus, Rick Nash (pictured) does it again for the Rangers in their 4-2 win over the Flyers - but his teammate Marc Staal took a puck to the face in the process, Islanders left-winger Matt Martin does his best to impress Boomer in 6-3 win over the Canadians, and Mike Woodson takes a bullet for Carmelo - who is unlikely to play tonight against the Pistons...
