Jerry Recco’s first update of the day had a little bit of everything.

It began with a recap of the Knicks’ 87-77 win over the Pistons, as an offensively confident Amar’e Stoudemire led the way.  The Nets used a solid second half to beat the Bobcats 99-78 and have apparently told Kris Humphries that he will continue to get paid, but his services will no longer be needed on the basketball court.

LeBron James helped the Heat extend their winning streak to 16 games with a layup in the final seconds against the Magic, Kobe Bryant’s 42 leads the Lakers to another win, Mark Teixeira will be out two months with a wrist injury – leaving Yankee fans to wonder, ‘Who’s on first?” – Terry Collins is already looking for someone to step up, Yankees held hitless for eight innings against the Dominican Republic, Rangers’ Marc Staal will reportedly be okay, and a young gal by the name of Emilia Clarke (pictured – helloooo!) gets naked while method acting…
