Al Dukes has described himself as ‘the brains and voice’ behind this thing we call the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza.
With that said, after the news that Mariano Rivera will reportedly retire following this season, Al decided to throw his hat in the ring and declare that Trevor Hoffman, not Mo, is the greatest closer of all time.
Al offered up what he thought to be a compelling argument supporting his bold claim.
As far as I know, Al is not related to Mr. Hoffman — he’s just exercising his right to display his ‘vast’ baseball knowledge…
