NEW YORK (WLNY) – More than 1 billion people around the world live in extreme poverty, surviving on just $1 a day.
Four young Americans made it their mission to help others understand the cause and effect of extreme poverty.
They spent 56 days in Guatemala living on that $1 a day, documenting the experience in the film, Living On One.
Two of the filmmakers, Chris Temple and Zach Ingrasci, joined us on The Couch.
