NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A New York City firefighter was arrested in Brooklyn early Saturday and charged with driving under the influence.

Warren Thompson – age unlisted – was arrested at 5:43 a.m. at 37th Street and Seventh Avenue in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, police said.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated and refusing to take a breathalyzer test, police said.

Warren was off duty at the time of the arrest, police said.

Further details were not immediately learned.
