B&C Morning Show: Update Time, Courtesy Jerry Recco

Turns out that Mark Teixiera could need surgery on his ailing right wrist, which apparently has a partially torn tendon sheath.  It will not be known if a surgical procedure is required for about seven or eight weeks, so in the meantime Craig will just assume the worst.

Jerry got things started with the latest injury news from the Yanks, as well as the Mets, who hope to have David Wright (sore ribs) in the lineup for Opening Day and are leaning towards giving the ball to Jon Niese to make the start, as Johan Santana is not expected to be ready.
