'Game Of Thrones' Fan Proposes To Girlfriend At Midtown Exhibit

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Who said weaponry and romance didn't mix?

An interactive "Game of Thrones" exhibition has drawn an incredible of amount of fans to W. 57th Street, where visitors can check out costumes and an interactive archery experience straight from the HBO series.

TV 10-55's Alex Denis checked out the exhibit with the Mobile Couch on Tuesday -- little did she know she would find more than props and games.

The cameras caught a romantic moment between two of the show's fanatics. They got engaged on a replica of the iron throne. Watch the magic happen in this clip:

The showcase is running in New York City through April 3.

The traveling exhibit is the first of its kind by HBO. It has already been to Toronto and will three other stops in Sao Paolo, Amsterdam and Belfast.

The exhibit, which is located at 3 West 57th Street, is free to the public.

It is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on weekdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekends, and 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Easter Sunday.

The third season of the highly-acclaimed HBO series premieres Sunday night at 9 p.m.
