Internet Cat Video Festival Coming To Brooklyn In The Fall

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Ever dreamed of watching those beloved cat videos that rule the Internet on the big screen rather than your computer screen?

Well, you're in luck!

The Internet Cat Video Festival is coming to Brooklyn.

Creator Scott Stulen decided to bring the festival to Brooklyn as a result of its popularity at the inaugural event last year in Minnesota.

"Ten thousand people showed up for it -- way beyond our wildest expectations," Stulen told 1010 WINS. "I think really in general we were somewhat surprised. We thought it'd be kind of mixed with people thinking that this is a wonderful thing and other people thinking that this is the end of the world as we know it."

Stulen said the festival is a "social event where people are coming out and sharing their love of Internet cat videos together."

The festival will be held at the Warsaw on Driggs Avenue in Greenpoint on October 25.

Tickets are $25.
