B&C Morning Show: Updating Rutgers, Melo & More
Before Jerry Recco got started with his update this morning, Craig took a moment to read a comment made by Rutgers men's basketball head coach Mike Rice back in December, after he was suspended by the university for his actions in a video that went viral Tuesday.
Jerry kept the Rutgers theme going by playing some audio of Athletic Director Tim Pernetti, who claims he never spoke with Eric Murdock, the former employee who reportedly provided Pernetti with the video a while back. Craig questions Pernetti's claim as the plot thickens surrounding the Scarlet Knights.
Plus, the Knicks had Tyson Chandler back and got their 9th straight win with a 102-90 win over the Heat, Carmelo Anthony dropped 50 in the process. Tonight the Knickerbockers will look to keep the good times rollin' in Atlanta when they take on the Hawks. Finally, the Islanders downed the Jets 5-2 and with the win leapfrogged the Rangers to move into 8th place in the Eastern Conference playoff race...
