Swastikas Found Drawn On Sidewalk In Nassau County

EAST MEADOW, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Sunday were trying to find out who drew two swastikas on the sidewalk in East Meadow, Long Island.

Nassau County police were called on Saturday, after someone discovered the swastika graffiti at Andrea and Sherwood roads.

The swastikas were drawn sometime between 8 a.m. and 12:56 p.m. Saturday, police said.

The investigation into the bias incident continued Sunday evening.

Anyone with information was asked to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at (800) 244-TIPS. All calls will remain anonymous.
