Water Main Bursts, Reportedly At Midtown Hotel
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A water main burst in Midtown Sunday, reportedly in the New York Palace Hotel.
The FDNY confirmed late Sunday afternoon that the water main broke at 27 E. 50th St., and said there is a possible hotel at the location, WCBS 880 reported.
The New York Palace Hotel is located at the site, carrying an address of 455 Madison Ave. St. Patrick's Cathedral is located across the street.
The Department of Environmental Protection was reportedly assisting.
