B&C Morning Show: Revis Speaks, Nets Stumble, CC's Diminishing Velocity

Jerry Recco began his first update with some comments from former Jets cornerback  Darrelle Revis, after he was traded to the Tampa Bay Bucs.

Revis had some less than flattering things to say about his former organization with regards to an apparent vibe he felt.

Revis was in Tampa last night and threw out the ceremonial first pitch for the Yankees-Rays game, setting the stage for CC Sabathia to get to work.  Well Sabathia yielded four first inning runs, the Bombers were never able to recover, going on to lose 5-1 and leaving some fans wondering if CC's diminished velocity should be a concern.  Sabathia himself said he just needs to pitch better, while his manager Joe Girardi placed the majority of the blame on the offense.

Speaking of the Yanks offense, an associate of Robinson Cano has been linked to Biogenesis, which right or wrong, doesn't bode well for the Yankees second baseman.

Plus, the Nets drop Game 2 to the Bulls 92-80 and looked bad doing so, J.R. Smith wins the NBA's Sixth Man of the Year award and the Knicks will host the Celtics tonight at MSG for Game 2 of their opening round series, looking to take a commanding 2-0 lead...
