NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – Three people suffered minor injuries when a car smashed into a furniture store in SoHo, Emergency Medical Services said.

The accident took place at around 1:45 p.m. Thursday at Lafayette and Kenmare Streets.

The car smashed through the plate glass window of the Mitchell Gold & Bob Williams furniture store.

Responding police and firefighters removed the car from the store.

No word on what caused the crash.
