When Jerry Recco strolled into the Allstate Studio to deliver his first update of the morning, he was feeling really good about himself based on the stylish, yellow shirt he selected to wear (pictured).

Boomer & Craig immediately mentioned Jerry’s wardrobe selection,  while Al Dukes wondered if a meeting with the folks at Chiquita Banana was in Jerry’s future.

The focus eventually shifted to Jerry’s update, which began with a recap of the Yankees’ 7-4 bounce-back win over the lowly Astros.  Lyle Overbay “hit one a mile,” according to John Sterling, Mariano Rivera got his 10th save of the season and Kevin Youkilis is headed to the DL.

Plus, the Mets lost their sixth game in a row after a crushing 2-1 loss to the Marlins. The Knicks-Celtics Game 5 is tonight at MSG, the Nuggets beat the Warriors and the Grizzlies downed the Clippers. There was some NHL news, Geno Smith fired his agent after falling in the NFL Draft, the Dynamic Radio Duo handed out a couple of April awards and Craigie offered an interesting All-Star Game prediction…
