Boomer was very pleased with the effort of his beloved Blueshirts last night at MSG in the Rangers’ 4-3 win over the Capitals — and after hearing his voice, it became very clear that Uncle Booms was there rooting them on.

With that said, today’s show began with a good chunk of Rangers talk, now that things are all tied up with the series heading back to Washington Friday night.  Craig didn’t even seem to mind, as he too watched the entire game (not in attendance though) and was eager to discuss the triumph.

Eventually the guys managed to shift gears and talked about the Knicks, who are busy preparing for Game 3 of their semifinal series with the Pacers Saturday night at Indiana.  Word is Amar’e Stoudemire is set to make his return to the Knicks lineup (Craig  does not think it’s a good idea), while J.R. Smith may have his minutes reduced based on his poor play of late.

Not to be left out, the Yankees got a 3-2 win in Colorado, which all but locks up Joe Girardi’s bid for ‘AL Manager of the Year’ according to Craig…
