Police: Teen Charged With Robbery In Attack Near Rockville Centre Train Station

ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A teenager has been arrested in connection with a robbery near a Long Island Rail Road train station.

Police said the 15-year-old and another suspect threw a 36-year-old woman to the ground near 100 N. Centre Avenue after she exited a train in Rockville Centre around 8:15 p.m. on May 5.

Police said the suspects took the victim's phone and ran off.

The victim sustained cuts and bruises to her face, legs and arms as well as a laceration over her eye, police said.

One suspect has been charged with second-degree robbery. The other suspect is still on the loose.
