Authorities Issue Arrest Warrant For Suspect In NJ Teen's Slaying

NEWARK, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Authorities have issued a warrant for the arrest of a suspect in the slaying of a New Jersey high school senior.

Almuqqadin Means, 18, of East Orange is wanted on murder and weapons charges in the death of 17-year-old Aquilla Flood, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn Murray said in a statement.

Flood, a senior at Campus High School, was found dead around 7:30 a.m. Wednesday morning inside her East Orange home.

The preliminary investigation indicates Flood was shot inside the home, prosecutors said.

Autopsy results are pending, but her death has been ruled a homicide, prosecutors said.
