Fire Spreads To 3 Houses In Elizabeth, N.J.

Flames Destroy Top 2 Floors Of One Home

ELIZABETH, N.J. (CBSNewYork) — An extra-alarm fire destroyed the top floors of a house Saturday night in Elizabeth, N.J.

The fire broke out in the evening hours in the house on Adams Street, officials told CBS 2.

The four-alarm blaze spread to two nearby homes as well. The flames had been knocked down in all three buildings by 11 p.m.

As of late Saturday night, fire officials were still trying to figure out if anyone was inside, and the cause of the blaze.
