Search Effort Continues For Missing Conn. Wedding Photographer

NEW MILFORD, Conn. (CBSNewYork) - The search for a missing Connecticut wedding photographer continues, with a group of his competitors even joining the effort.

Eric Langlois, 33, has been missing since last Tuesday, June 11 when he went looking for his mountain bike at Lovers Leap State Park in New Milford after having an accident the previous day.

"He was injured from the accident physically and we believe he might have had a concussion," event designer Candace Coppola told WCBS 880's Monica Miller.

Coppola said Langlois' pregnant wife first reported him missing.

"After he didn't come home and she did not hear from him, she called police," Coppola said.

Langlois' wife reached out to friends, family and members of the wedding community for help.

"I would say 75 to maybe even 80 or plus showed up on the first day," Coppola told Miller.

She said the father of two young children who could make people laugh has brought the best out in people.

"I don't know too many professional businesses that would actually go out and search for their competitor in their direct market," Coppola said.

A Facebook page dedicated to the search effort has been set up. A woman posted on the page Tuesday afternoon saying someonw heard a man crying and called police, triggering the rescue effort.

Anyone with information is asked to call police immediately.
