B&C Morning Show: Updating From The Hip; Boomer's Focus
Jerry Recco got right to it this morning, beginning his first update with a thorough recap of Tuesday night's Game 6 thriller between the Spurs and the Heat. The recap included plenty of discussion with regards to Ray Allen's game-tying three in the final seconds of regulation (sometimes the Booms loses focus).
Plus, the Mets lived up to the hype surrounding Tuesday's doubleheader in Atlanta. Matt Harvey dazzled in the first game -- a 4-3 Mets win -- while rookie phenom Zack Wheeler garnered the majority of the attention in the second game, getting a win in his MLB debut. Terry Collins spoke in a clear manner during his multiple postgame obligations, and at the same time, unknowingly gave Craig an idea for a new Halloween activity.
The Yankees, meanwhile were rained out, so they will host a doubleheader today in the Bronx, where Don Mattingly will make his return. Also, Mark Teixiera is heading to the DL and Kevin Youkilis is going to miss up to 10-12 weeks, which has the Bombers pining for Alex Rodriguez to return...
