Police: Man Exposed Himself To Teen In L.I. Mall Parking Lot

MEDFORD, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- A man has been arrested and charged with exposing himself to a teenage girl in a Suffolk County mall parking lot.

Justin Curry, 35, was arrested Sunday night in connection with the incident on June 6.

Around 2 p.m. that day, the suspect was sitting in his gray 2013 Chevrolet Cruz in the parking lot at Sunshine Square, at 700 Patchogue-Medford Rd., police said.

The man called the 18-year-old over, and when she approached, he exposed himself and performed a lewd act, police said.

The victim fled and called police.

An investigation by Suffolk County police Fifth Squad detectives led to Curry, of Medford, who was arrested around 9 p.m. Sunday and charged with misdemeanor public lewdness.

Curry appeared in court Monday in Central Islip.
