'Summer Camp' Host Matt Rogers On The Couch

NEW YORK (WLNY) -- Who wouldn't want to go back to summer camp?

A new television show is letting some folks return to the days of campfires, sing-a-longs and color wars.

Matt Rogers, former American Idol finalist, hosts USA's new reality competition series 'Summer Camp.' The show features 16 men and women competing in over-the-top camp games over 8 weeks to win $250,000 prize.

At the end of the summer, the remaining campers will face off in the "Campathalon," an ultimate Olympic style event. The winning camp will receive a the cash prize to be split among the remaining contenders. Friendships will be made, alliances will be broken and of course there will be plenty of summer flings.

Rogers joined us on The Couch to tell us about the show, which will premiere on Thursday, July 11 at 8:00 p.m. on USA.
