B&C Morning Show: Jeter On The Way, Harvey Sitting And A-Rod's Possible Suspension
Word is that the Yankees could have their captain back in the lineup as early as this afternoon in the Bronx, when they wrap up their four-game series with the Royals at the Stadium. Yankees fans everywhere should be rejoicing.
Derek Jeter has declared himself good to go, and apparently Brian Cashman and the Yankees' brass agree, so it's on!
Matt Harvey, on the other hand, is going to miss his next start for the Mets, presumably to assure that he is ready to start the All-Star Game coming up on Tuesday (7/16) at the home of the Mets, Citi Field.
Furthermore, Jeter's teammate, Alex Rodriguez, once again finds himself in the midst of all sorts of controversy. A-Rod is possibly facing a lifelong suspension from baseball -- that is if you listen to New York Daily News columnist Bill Madden.
