'We Will Be In The Playoffs, And Deep In The Playoffs.'

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — After a disappointing and embarrassing season last year, the Jets are looking to rid their reputation as a joke in the NFL and gain their respect back as a team that can compete.

Wide receiver Stephen Hill believes that that time is now, and predicts a postseason run for the Jets this year.

“Oh yes, definitely,” Hill told the NFL Network. “We will be in the playoffs, and deep in the playoffs.”

The former second-round pick played in only 11 games last season and caught three touchdown passes in a injury-plagued rookie campaign. The wideout is coming off of a surgically-repaired knee, but plans to be a major part of the Jets’ offense this upcoming season.

With no timetable set for teammate Santonio Holmes’ return date after his foot injury, all eyes are on Hill to make an impact and lead the Jets’ group of unproven wide receivers.
