Report: Three New Names On List Of Biogenesis Players

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - CBSSports.com's Jon Heyman is reporting that in addition to the 12 players expected to be suspended, three new names are going to be added to the list.

The three new players added to the list have not become public, according to Heyman.

Those three new names however do not include Melky Cabrera, Bartolo Colon and Yasmani Grandal who have already served a 50-game suspension.

Heyman also is reporting that a majority of the 12 players have made agreements with MLB to the 50-game suspension and won't appeal the decision.

Despite the looming suspension that commissioner Bud Selig is expected to hand down on Monday, the Yankees and manager Joe Girardi expect A-Rod to join the team Monday and be in the lineup against the White Sox in Chicago.

"Our expectation was if everything went OK, he would be with us on Monday," Girardi said after Rodriguez final rehab game on Saturday in Trenton.

According to ESPN's Buster Olney, the Yankees expect A-Rod's suspension to be tied to the drug-policy violation which would allow A-Rod to be eligible to play while he appeals the suspension.

Rodriguez was seen working out at the Trenton Thunder stadium and taking batting practice on Sunday, according to David Lennon of Newsday.

Lennon later tweeted, "#AROD has departed Trenton after workout at the stadium. Did not talk to media, so we're left to take his word that he's headed to Chicago."
