NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — It seems that not everybody from New York knows about Jones Beach.
Employees from the Department of Transportation will have to fix a new sign on the Robert Moses Causeway that leads visitors to “Jonse Beach,” WCBS 880’s Sophia Hall reported Friday.
Beachgoers were shocked by the obvious error.
“They don’t even know how to spell,” one man said.
The DOT plans to have the sign fixed with an adhesive overlay at no additional cost.
