B&C Morning Show: Jerry Gets Defensive, Suzyn Gets Singing, A Curtain Call & More
Jerry Recco took to Twitter (@JerryRecco) prior to delivering his first update of the morning, which meant Jerry was forced to defend his tweet prior to delivering his first update.
After that, we got a recap of the Yanks' 3-2 win over the Rays, complete with some John Sterling play-by-play -- which didn't sit well with Governor Chris Christie, who was sitting in for the Booms. The governor is not a big fan of Sterling's, but he does enjoy listening to Suzyn Waldman do her thing, which meant Craig could do his thing.
As for the Mets, Terry Collins' bunch got swept by the Tigers, which had the Mets' manager mumbling afterward. One bright spot for the Mets, though, was that rookie catcher Travis d'Arnaud hit his first career home run, and afterward took a curtain call.
Plus, the governor displays very little confidence in the Morning Show Staff, the Jets beat the Giants Saturday night, Mark Sanchez leaves the game with a shoulder injury, Geno Smith throws three interceptions and Rex Ryan flips his lid. As for the Giants, they have lost Stevie Brown for the season with an ACL tear...
