Police: Suspect Molested Woman On Subway Near Barclays Center

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police on Tuesday were searching for a man who allegedly molested a woman on a subway train in Brooklyn.

At around 6:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 5, the 22-year-old woman was riding the No. 4 train near the Atlantic Avenue-Barclays Center station, when the man came up and rubbed his genitals against her, police said.

The suspect then hopped off the train at the Franklin Avenue stop, police said.

The suspect was described as a black male in his 50s, standing about 5-foot-10 and weighing around 250 pounds.

Police have released a surveillance image of the suspect.
