Boomer & Carton: Ball Movement, 'Funk,' Collecting Cans, Length And Much More

As the title suggests, this Jerry Recco update had quite a bit going on throughout.

Jerry got started with the Yankees, after Hiroki Kuroda had another rough outing, as the Yankees fell to the Blue Jays 7-2.  Afterwards Kuroda said through a translator the movement on his balls was not there - which proved to be a problem.  Joe Girardi chalked it up to his right-handed starter just being in a 'funk' -- a 'P-Funk' if you will.

From there we heard all about Boomer's 'sneak-attack' on Craig yesterday that concluded with someone walking away with a collection of welts on their backside.

Daisuke Matsuzaka bored everyone to tears last night in the Mets' 6-2 loss to the Phillies, Boomer was encouraged by his length, while Terry Collins mentioned the slow manner in which Matsuzaka tends to work.  For some reason Matt Harvey sat down with Phillies pitcher Roy 'Doc' Halladay to compare injury notes.  Some news from the Giants and the Jets as well.

Plus, comparing stupid athletes and stupid radio hosts, as well as collecting cans and bottles to make a buck -- or 50,000 of them...
