Boomer & Carton: Can't Ignore The Yankees On This Football Friday
Peyton Manning and the Broncos kicked off their 2013 NFL season by putting up 49 spot on the Ravens, thanks to seven, count 'em seven touchdown passes from Eli's older brother.
The elder Manning tied an NFL record with his TD-throwing orgy and Boomer was in Denver to witness it firsthand, so it was there that this Football Friday edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza began.
With Booms still in Denver, Craig was all alone in the Allstate Studio and despite Manning's heroics, and the first football Sunday so close you can taste it, Craig's mood was a bit foul based on the 'devastatingly brutal' loss by his beloved Yankees, who fell 9-8 to the Red Sox in 10 innings.
So all of that, combined with the Jets (vs. Buccaneers) and Giants (at Dallas) opening up their respective 2013 campaigns, and the Dynamic Radio Duo had themselves an action-packed show open to set the stage for things to come...
