NEW YORK(AP) — The first of four event-filled September weekends is set to kick off with activities from the upper Hudson Valley to New York City.
The 14th annual Hudson River Valley Ramble starts Saturday and continues Sunday, with more events scheduled for the next three weekends in September.
The Ramble features events that highlight the region’s cultural and artistic heritage as well as the valley’s scenic attractions. Museums, historic sites and music venues are some of the places hosting events during the four weekends this month.
Events are being in 12 counties along the Hudson as well as in Manhattan and the Bronx. The events include guided hikes, cycling and kayaking tours, historic site walks, festivals and river explorations.
