NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) – A three-alarm fire is under investigation in Brooklyn.

The blaze started around 2 a.m. Monday and ripped through two row houses on Dahlgren Street in Bay Ridge.

“The fire was located in the second floor up into the attic, into the rear,” FDNY Deputy Chief Richard Howe said, adding that part of the building also collapsed.

Nearly 140 firefighters responded to the scene.

No residents were injured, but two firefighters suffered minor injuries, CBS 2 reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation. Officials said it is not considered suspicious.
