Boomer & Carton: Week 1 Wraps Up, Girardi And Buck Almost Throw Down
With NFL Week 1 officially in the books and the Yanks falling to the Orioles 4-2, Boomer and Craig had their work laid out before them on this beautiful September Tuesday morning.
Booms was in Washington for the Monday night clash between the Eagles and the Redskins, so it was there that the Dynamic Radio Duo began, as Chip Kelly introduced his up-tempo offense to the NFL and turned it into a 33-27 Eagles win over RG3 and the 'Skins.
From there the focus shifted to the baseball diamond, as the Yanks-Orioles game was highlighted by a verbal confrontation between Joe Girardi and Buck Showalter that almost got physical.
Unfortunately for poor Al Dukes, this story -- combined with Uncle Booms' lack of sleep -- led to a beatdown for the esteemed executive producer (pictured below).
All of that, the Giants' search for a running back and we had ourselves a start to this edition of the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza...
