Report: Women From Brooklyn Are Among The Nation's Pickiest Online Daters
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Hitting the Web to score a date? Good luck landing a gal from Brooklyn.
A recent report by the Daily News claims that women from Brooklyn are "extra picky" when online dating is concerned.
The report was based on data from AYI.com, which has a Facebook-integrated dating app and indicated that women from Brooklyn were the least likely to respond to messages.
Brooklyn residents told 1010 WINS reporter Gary Baumgarten on Friday that the results weren't surprising.
"I have friends who've had some pretty picky objections," one woman said. "I've heard that they make too much money, that they don't make enough money, that they talk too much, that they're boring, everything."
Detroit, Minneapolis, Cincinnati, and Los Angeles were also home to super-selective online daters, according to the report.

Luckily for gents looking to the Internet to find a date in the Tri-State Area, women in Jersey City, N.J. were far more likely to respond to a message from a potential suitor, the report said.
