NEW YORK (WLNY) — About 50 million Americans face hunger every day — a problem that can seem overwhelming.

But there are ways to make a difference. Just ask Lauren Bush Lauren. The model, designer and niece to former President George W. Bush visited The Couch to talk to us about one event taking place in New York City this weekend, aiming to combat hunger.

Women’s Health and the FEED Foundation are holding the 2nd annual RUN10 FEED10 10k philanthropic race and wellness event in NYC on September 22.

Lauren Bush Lauren is the founder of FEED. She joined us to tell us about the fun things included in the day and the real-life impact  all who participate will be providing to the hungry.
