Police: Man Forces Way Into Bronx Apartment, Steals iPads

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man who they said robbed a Bronx teen inside her own home.

Earlier this month, the 15-year-old girl answered the door to her Longfellow Avenue apartment and was met by a man who was wearing a mask and carrying a gun, police said.

The suspect forced his way into the apartment and stole two iPads before fleeing, police said.

The girl was not hurt.

Police have released surveillance video of the suspect who was last seen wearing a black mask, black shorts with a blue and white stripe and a white baseball cap.
