Police: Two Shot During Altercation Outside Of Central Islip Bar
NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- Detectives in Suffolk County are investigating a shooting that took place in the parking lot of a Central Islip bar on Saturday morning.
A group of people were in the parking lot of the Aura Lounge on West Suffolk Ave when an altercation occurred and shots rang out, police said.
Darryl Jackson, 30 of Brentwood was hit in the foot and Cleon Norwood, 47, of Central Islip was shot in the stomach, according to authorities.
Norwood was hospitalized in serious condition and was undergoing surgery on Saturday.
