NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — A Wisconsin woman was arrested Sunday, after she allegedly tried to get into the 9/11 Memorial with a gun.

Ursula Jerry, 41, tried to pass through the screening center at the World Trade Center site with a .380-caliber semiautomatic pistol in her bag, police said.

The weapon had two rounds in the magazine, but none in the chamber, police said.

The woman does not have a permit to carry a weapon in New York state, and was taken to the First Precinct.

She was charged with criminal possession of a weapon.
