Cooking On The Couch: Goat Cheese French Toast
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A new restaurant in Rockland County is already building up quite the fan base...including those of us here on The Couch.
Roost is located in Sparkill, and is offering diners new American fare with a Mediterranean influence -- as well as an impressive cocktail menu.
Chef Kevin Reilly, formerly of the city's Water Club and Rockland's Cafe Barcel, stopped by to show us how to put together a signature dish from Roost's menu: Goat Cheese French Toast. It's a savory take on the breakfast classic -- which the restaurant serves as an appetizer, any time of day.
