Police Search For Suspect Who Allegedly Tried To Rob Man In Harlem Building
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police Wednesday night were asking the public to help them find a suspect who tried to rob a 64-year-old man the lobby of a building in Harlem.
The robbery happened around 11:05 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 10, in a building near 141st Street and Amsterdam Avenue, police said.
The suspect followed the man into the lobby of the building, said he had a gun, and demanded money and jewelry. But he left empty-handed when another man walked into the lobby, police said.
Police have released a video of the suspect.
