RIDGEWOOD, N.J. (WLNY) – The Ridgewood High School marching band is making quite the name for itself.

Alex Denis caught up with director John Luckenbill and members of the band to see what makes them stand out.

Luckenbill said their show this year is called “Rush Hour” which contains three parts.

“It talks about the modes of transportation around New York City,” Luckenbill said. “We’re doing a subway movement, a plane movement and we’re also doing a taxi movement.”

The band will be performing at a pregame show at 6:15 p.m. Friday before their football team faces off against Hackensack High School.
