Police Seek Suspect In 2 Bronx Sex Assaults

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police are searching for a man who they said sexually assaulted two women in separate incidents in the Bronx.

In the first incident, the suspect walked up behind a 20-year-old woman near East 188th Street and Lorillard Place last Thursday and forcibly touched her, police said.

The next day, police said the suspect did the same thing to a 26-year-old woman near Fairmount Place and Marmion Avenue.

No injuries were reported.

Police said the suspect fled on foot both times, but is believed to be driving a gray minivan.

The suspect is described as an Hispanic man between 20 and 30 years old, between 5-feet-8-inches and 5-feet-10-inches tall, and approximately 165 to 180 pounds.

Police said he has a goatee and long hair pulled back into a ponytail.
