The Essex County Branch Brook Park in Newark also made the list.
Among the other places making the APA’s Great Public Spaces list are the Tony Knowles Coastal Trail in Anchorage, Alaska; the Grand Park in Los Angeles and The Broadwalk in Hollywood, Fla.
