Boomer & Carton: Raymond Felton Wakes Up And Calls In (In That Order)

Shortly after waking from his slumber, Knicks guard Raymond Felton gave Boomer & Craig a call to talk about his team's outlook for the 2013-14 season. The Knicks finished the 2012-13 season with 54 wins, but suffered a disappointing loss to the Indiana Pacers in the Eastern Conference Semifinals.

Felton was very optimistic, looking to build on last year's success, and is very excited about the additions of Andrea Bargnani and Metta World Peace, as well as having J.R. Smith and Kenyon Martin back in the mix.  He assured Craig that toughness would not be a problem and dismissed the notion that perhaps, as a team, the Knicks were intimidated by the Pacers' David West last year in the playoffs. He also has no problem with all of the love that the Brooklyn Nets have been receiving, but will miss being a teammate of new Nets head coach Jason Kidd.

Craig also asked Felton about marijuana use among NBA players, asking him to give a percentage on how many of his contemporaries partake in smoking the ganja. Not surprising, Felton offered little in the way of a response, so there you have it...
