1 Man Killed, 1 Injured In Queens Motorcycle Accident
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) — One man was killed and another injured early Sunday in a motorcycle accident on the Cross Island Parkway in Queens.
David Wilson, 27, was driving the motorcycle with another man onboard when he lost control on the northbound Cross Island Parkway, and slammed into a barrier near the Whitestone Expressway, police said.
Upon responding at 5:35 a.m., police found Wilson, of Queens, lying at the scene with severe trauma. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The second man, also 27, was taken to Queens General Hospital, where he was in stable condition Sunday afternoon being treated for abrasions about his body.
No other vehicles or people were involved, police said.
The investigation into the accident was ongoing late Sunday afternoon.
